She received her Master of Divinity from the Moravian Theological Seminary in 1993 and completed a Ph.D. from the Garrett-Evangelical Seminary at Northwestern University in 1995. She is married with three children. Amy’s gifts were an ideal fit for the needs of our church. She is a deeply spiritual woman who expresses her love of Christ and reaches out in action to the community surrounding her as an expression of that love. She develops lay leaders within her congregation. She is an extraordinary preacher. As an Old Testament scholar, she brings a passion for teaching. She is sought after to lead workshops, interpretations, and guest speaking. She is a gifted disciple of Christ and we are excited about her ministry at the Waconia Moravian Church
Being a deeply spiritual woman Amy expresses her love of Christ and reaches out in action to the community; this will be a blessing to our church family. Amy is an extraordinary preacher, develops lay leaders within her congregation and is also an Old Testament scholar who brings a passion for teaching. Amy is also committed to a vision of ministry that allows her to reach both inside and outside her own church to teach people about the richness of Biblical Studies and the fullness of a life with Christ.
